Course Tour & Yardage Guide

Hole #1 & #10

485m | 359m | Par 5

Tough opening par 5 to begin. Slightly uphill hole, with out of bounds all down the left side of the fairway and trees blocking out wayward drives to the right.

Hole #2 & #11

425m | 338m | Par 5

Another par 5 but slightly downhill. Reachable in two with a good drive, but trees waiting 100m short of the green if off target to the right.

Hole #3 & #12

339m | 228m | Par 4

First of the par 4’s, again with out of bounds up the left but plenty of room to the right. Getting the right club essential for this approach to the small green.

Hole #4 & #13

390m | 390m | Par 4 | Par 5

Stroke index 1 & 2 with out of bounds left & right. Good drive sets up easier 2nd shot, as a creek runs across 60m short of the green.

Hole #5 & #14

332m | 281m | Par 4

A Short Walk back to the woolshed for this par 4. Out of bounds all up the right side of the fairway. Another creek 60m short of the green waiting for miss-hit 2nd shots. Out of bounds behind the green too.

Hole #6 & #15

262m | 262m | Par 4

With a good tail wind, this drivable par 4 is uphill with another creek running up the left-hand side. The green is set into the hill, and has been known to have a treacherous pin position every now & then! Best to leave an uphill putt.

Hole #7 & #16

160m / 133m | 133m / 119m | Par 3

Our ‘signature’ hole. This is the 1st of two par 3’s with an elevated tee & views of Mt Ruapehu on a clear day. Club selection is paramount here with a large tree and the creek featuring down the left side and carrying on around the back of the green. Any tee shots pushed right, run the risk of finding out of bounds.

Hole 16: The Signature hole from the lower shorter tee, brings the tree & the creek more into play.

Hole #8 & #17

174m | 127m / 145m | Par 3

The longer 2nd par 3, which depending on the wind can be a real challenge! Out of bounds again up the right side of the hole.

Hole #9 & #18

340m | 335m | Par 4

Slightly uphill par 4 with Out of bounds all the way up the right side. The solitary tree at driving distance on the left, can cause headaches with your 2nd shot.
